Our project called "The Neverending Story" began in 2010 and it will
continue until 2012. Participants of the project are from the Czech
Republic, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. The project is based on
experimenting with foreign languages by using fairytales. Each country has
chosen the most popular traditional fairytale. Children are getting familiar
with the English version of this fairytale and then are going to participate
on every activity planned for the project (designing of the mascot, comics
creating, crosswords, songs and dances, games etc.). Besides that they are
staying in contact with pupils from other countries and improving their
English by exchanging letters. The outcomes of different activities will be
presented on the website, shared with other participants and finaly publish
in a book.
During the following two years we are also going to visit each other, share
our experiences and also learn something about traditions and culture of
other countries.
